Daredevil!

Cupcake does not hold still these days! She's always going, going, going. She crawls at a speed demon pace and she has to climb on EVERYTHING! The coffee table is her favorite (inanimate) object to climb on. The unfortunate part about that is it likes to bite her. She's still pretty clumsy so falls are quite common around here. So far we've had two bruises on the forehead and she has her first fat lip. :( Oh, the tears that came with it. And the blood! Poor girl was not happy. And neither was mommy! It hasn't slowed her down, though. She's right back up there today.

Cincinnati Children's Museum

 My friend Autumn and Corinne's friend Aidric have season passes to the Cincinnati Children's Museum.  I can understand why!  It's just a few minutes away and it's so fun!  We get a little cranky couped up in the house all the time and the day before we went to the museum it was snowy and gross, so we were ready for a day out.  Corinne and Aidric played, played, played!!!  Corinne liked sorting the vegetables to see what holes they fit in. She also liked punching the buttons on the cash register.  Aidric was done shopping before she calculated his total!!  He was just running around like a crazy kid!!  She also really liked the beads on the activity box.  She also liked the xylophone on it, but she was more interested in eating the mallet than playing the xylophone.  After the museum we went to lunch and then the kids napped!  They were tuckered!!  It was another fun day with Autumn and Aidric!  Our playdates are always so much fun!

Bad Mommy

It's been awhile since I've blogged!!  I knew this would happen!  But I'm back!  So, let's see.  Corinne celebrated her first Christmas.  She got lots of fun gifts.  We all slept through the New Year (no complaints from me!).  And she's becoming more and more curious every day!  She stands up ALL the time!  On EVERYTHING!!  This has resulted in a few bumps and bruises.  We're still introducing new foods every few days.  She likes broccoli, apples, pears and sweet potatoes.  Peas were a bit of a fight, but I think she's growing to like them.  She still can't figure out the sippy cup, so we're trying a few different kinds.  Other than that we're playing!!!  And having a great time!
