Corinne celebrated her first Easter last weekend! She had a great big basket waiting for her on Easter morning full of goodies! Her favorite were the puffs. I think puffs are like catnip for babies. She can't get enough! She also loved the Weebles and her new books. The Easter Bunny left some eggs out for her to find. She found one and was so interested in it that the rest were unimportant. We headed to church where she wiggled, wiggled, wiggled and got a bit cranky as it was cutting into nap time. After her nap (and mommy and daddy's big breakfast) we played with her new toys, she had a snack of puffs, and read some books with daddy.
We made a ham and Corinne gobbled it right up. Well, not the whole thing, but she ate her fair share. It was a low key day, but I think it was perfect!

One Smart Cookie
Cupcake just keeps growing! Here she is sporting her new 12 months size pajamas. She used to keep up with the sizes, but she's fallen behind a bit, so we're just now busting out the 12 months stuff even though she's 10.5 months old. She now has 4 teeth and I think I see another on the way. Her hair is growing!! I hope I can put it in a ponytail soon. She stands on her own for a long time. No steps, yet, though. She's getting to be a little piggy. She's doing well with finger food. Her favorite is Cheerios. There were some in that cup she's holding, but she fed them to the dog.
She's very into her cookie jar shape sorter these days. She doesn't sort the shapes, but she loves to take them out of the jar and put them back in the top. She also likes to take them out of the jar, put them in her Super Seat, and then take them out of the Super Seat and put them back in the jar. The shapes are about the only thing she'll put away though. Several times a day she takes out all my cookbooks, but doesn't put them back. She also likes to take everything out of the storage drawer and of course I have to put that all away, too.
She hardly ever has two socks on. I find them randomly all over the house and the car. The same with shoes. I think I have 2 or 3 shoes living in my car right now.
She has also recently started giving us a "cheese face." Sometimes when she smiles she scrunches up her face. It's pretty cute.
There's never a dull moment with this girl!
